The local organizing committee consists of a few members from the Archaeometallurgical Research Group of the University of Miskolc (ARGUM) (www.archeometallurgia.hu or www.argum.hu). ARGUM is the only Hungarian interdisciplinary research group in the field of archaeometallurgy, and its members are archaeologists, metallurgical and material engineers, historians and mineralogists. It was officially founded in 2011, but the founders have been worked on archaeometallurgical topics for more than twenty years.
